Medicine of the 19th century - Cannabis

Everyone knows about the positive medical effects of the cannabis on human body and la lot of the states in the US and some countries around the world accept medical marijuana as a part of their society.

Today we are taking our readers back in the 19th century.

Queen Victoria

The 19th century, the time of the industrial and economical progress and the Empire time. 

Queen Victoria, most loved queen of Britain, was in love with her husband and cannabis. Cannabis has been used as a medicine for thousands of years all over the world, including India, Middle East and Chine. Dr J Russel Reynolds, queen's doctor was prescribing her Cannabis treatment for her morning sickness, menstrual cramps or labor pain. Cannabis would make Queen feel better and bring her back to life. The doctor has been prescribing cannabis for over 30 years and believed that it was the best medicine we possesses. Only by the end of the 19th century when the niddle has been invented.

So, even back in a days, very influenced people used cannabis as a medicine, that should mean a lot to us. Why keep medical cannabis away from people who is in need of it, especially that cannabis really helps.
