Nick Diaz, Ultimate Fighting Championship, who failed a drug test on 4 Feb after Las Vegas Fight, past Monday was suspended by Nevada Athletic Commission for one year! Which means he will be out of action until February 2013.

Also he got a fine of $60,000, which is about 30 percent of his fight purse.

Diaz and his lawyer, were unable to convince the commission that Diaz had a prescription from California doctor to use medical cannabis for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder treatment.

Just to remind Diaz was previously suspended from the fights in 2007, when he was positively tested for marijuana after his fight with Takanori Gomi.

This time it might change Diaz's life a little bit. He declared his intention to retire from MMA competition after losing a decision in the Feb 4 main fight against Carlos Condit.

Will see what's going to happen in a year...
